it's weird petrified is not on the popular variants list. Look at how many games have been played in a few weeks of it: in the top you can see more than 15 million games played in few weeks!! while other variants like XXL chess which are more interesting get the same plays! ??¿¿

(In the last 10 minutes from writing this) I sent a 1-check Fog-of-War challenge, my opponent saw it as a one-check (also FOW) challenge (at least they claim to have seen that in the chat, I cannot independently verify it), but when I delivered the first check of the game, it just reduced 5 to 4. https://www.chess.com/variants/custom/game/15418241/16/3 I refreshed the tab, and it still shows 1-check in the match-type name and on the banner with the list of rules that are combined (although once one hovers over it, it describes the rule as how it is in 5-check)

I am not dedicated to horde at all, so it will be very frequent that i will not lose in the position, but some mistakes from my opponent can let me win. https://www.chess.com/variants/horde/game/15192692/114/1 i promoted my pawn and won from there. Its a truly unbalanced game, and dont come with "its +3 for white". Its a forced win for black, but the thing is that not everyone knows how to force it. that's the point of horde in my opinion. And now, for the second time, i won it as white. Its right the next game i played as white after "I won horde as white - for the first time!" topic.

Like normal chess, but queens/rooks/bishops/knights can depromote to a piece that's a lower rank. Example: for white's turn, white could change a knight to a pan or bishop

I was playing Giveaway and then I couldn't move anything and when I typed something in the chat it didn't send it and I couldn't even offer draw or resign. I don't know if this is exactly a bug but if it is please fix it and if it isn't can someone tell me the reason if they know it?

I really like the blindfold variant since I've been trying to learn to play blindfold for a while. There are a couple ideas I had that would make me like it even better; 1. It would be great if there was a way to play blindfold games in the normal pool not necessarily against a blindfold opponent. (I know there's an option to have blindfold piece set, but I also want to have a separate rating when I play blindfold so I don't tank my normal rating). 2. When blindfold variant was newer, I could see the whole move list even though I couldn't see the pieces. I prefer this because the challenge for me is visualization not memorization and it creates in my mind an unnecessary added difficulty. It would be nice to at least have the option of still allowing the normal move list to appear. Just little complaints, but overall I am very impressed with the new variants and Blindfold chess in particular.
