hmm never knew there was that feature
Where did they go?

It needs to be at least 2000 members but this isn't the point. I used to be able to click on "find clubs" and it gave me the full list of teams starting with the club with most members. Now it doesn't even give us the option of toggling to search for clubs unless we know the name of the club.

ah, k

It would be great if Chess.com allowed better filtering options for club searching, including filters for the number of members and the foundation date.
One way to find a good opponent (for daily or vote chess matches) might be via the Leaderboard:
It still takes a little bit of clicking but that's how I was looking for opponents in the past. I was quite happy with the results. I looked at the club pages of teams that were placed on the Leaderboard somewhere around my club.
You can get to the Leaderboard from your club's page via Daily Matches...
... and then via Leaderboard on the next page.
(And similarly for vote chess matches.)
The position on the daily matches and vote chess Leaderboards is also on your club's page:
You probably know most of this stuff but I've included the details for other, less experienced admins who might read this post. Hopefully, somebody will find this useful.

Oh I know how to do that yes thank you but no offense I shouldn't have to. I run far too many clubs to have to do that for every one of them. It is a huge inconvenience.

Sure but the number of club members never tells the whole story. For example, Boris Spassky Chess Club has three times as many members as Black Stone, they were created around the same time and have a similar number of admins; yet, I'd always bet on Black Stone to win any match between these two clubs. One can hardly find a good opponent unless they can look at the recent matches of the potential candidates.
Then again, any admin taking care of a high number of clubs will have a tough life on Chess.com until (and unless) clubs start to directly generate larger revenue for the site, which would make the site owners focus on this area.

I have asked about this and was told it was a planned change. But it was suggested I bug report so I did, referencing this topic, so it may get revisited.

Thanks Martin. +1 @itude it winds me up that we don’t get told about this till it’s too freaking late.

Do you not think it is a good idea to inform members about "planned changes" ?
This is yet another example of the egocentric management style of chess.com.
They never learn their lesson it seems !
There are so many projects going on, with both major and minor changes and bug fixes, it would probably take a full time employee to keep up with everything and post somewhere, where most people wouldn't read anyway. Add to that, some changes may have unintended results, so even then not everything would get caught.
Maybe make that suggestion to the site and maybe they'll hire someone.
